  • What are the different styles of hair coloring?

Some of the most popular styles of hair coloring requested at my salon include, but aren’t limited to:

    • Full hair color
    • Partial hair color
    • Highlights, lowlights, wet-lights, and baby-lights
    • Ombre
    • Balayage
    • Hair frosting
    • Color correction services
    • Gray coverage
    • Bright colors
    • …and much more!

Are you looking to recreate a specific color or color placement? I’m thrilled to take a look and let you know which steps I’ll take to achieve it.

  • What is the difference between a balayage, an ombre, and highlights?

I recognize that so many different hair-color terms and style terms can get confusing. Allow me to define some of my most frequently requested color options:

Balayage Long-lasting and with the ability to give your hair the illusion of improved volume, balayage has become a staple in achieving dynamic coloring that gives you more dimension. With color starting at the mid-hair shaft and going down, balayage is designed to provide subtle, long-wearing highlights that still look natural as they grow out.

Ombre What sets ombre apart from its peers is focusing on transitioning from darker at the roots to a lighter tone at the ends. This technique requires less dimension in the mid-length and ends of the hair and can be used to create a variety of different looks, from subtle and professional to dramatic and fun.

Highlights A traditional favorite, highlights are a higher maintenance option for adding dimension and interest to any style. They're applied from root to tip using foils and can be placed throughout your hair or strategically located, depending on the style you're looking to create.

  • I colored my hair at home and don't like the result. What should I do?

We've all been there. Coloring your hair at home isn’t the end of the world when you can consult with a professional to fix any damage or provide the result you were trying to achieve. Just reach out to me, and I’ll do my best to get you in as soon as possible.
